Welcome to the home-page of the blog-network for AMERICAN LITERATURE II classes!
The network is experimental and is part of the course offered by Professor Vera Lima Ceccon to her undergraduate students at UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). In august 2010 we start its second semester of activity. Learn more about the project.
The network is meant to be temporary and valid only for the semester of enrolment. Its main purposes are:
1. to host all students’ class reports on the web and therefore make them visible to all classmates;
2. to help them exchange information and ideas about American Literature during the 19th century and
3. to encourage students to write more consistently about their academic experience – in English or in Portuguese or both
